November 9, 2019 (Sat.)

MDACC Dan L Duncan Building (8th Floor), 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Welcome

Dear Korean-American biomedical scientists and engineers,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is with great pleasure that I welcome you to "13th Korean-American Bio-Medical Symposium (KABMS)” and "2nd Korean-American Young Professionals and Young Generation Summit (KAYS)", which will take place on November 9th, 2019 (Saturday) at the Dan L Duncan Building (Free Parking at Pressler Garage) in the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas.

This annual conference is committed to make genuine and reliable contributions to the scientific and engineering community. We have honorably invited distinguished speakers who will provide the most up-to-date researches and reviews from the broad-spectrum disciplines and will share their lifetime experience in academic or industry fields. It is also our intention that this conference should not only provide a fruitful opportunity to the participants who want to expand their knowledge and experience but also make the perfect platform for global networking as it brings together renowned speakers and scientists across the nation. There will also be newly launched TMC Biomedical Faculty Awards as well as the poster presentation awards to enhance and recognize their achievements.

We thank the many KSEA staff, session chairs, and all invited speakers for helping us to build this very exciting symposium program. I would like to express my appreciation to the conference committee and participants for making this extraordinary conference scientifically rewarding and interactive.

Dongsu Park, Ph. D.
