2020 KSEA West Gulf Coast Regional Conference
December 12, 2020 (Sat.), 1PM-6PM
Online via Zoom
Dear Korean-American biomedical scientists and engineers,
I hope that you and your family have stayed safe and healthy during COVID-19 pandemic. This COVID-19 pandemic has limited our life in many aspects, but our scientific advance should be continued. On behalf of the Conference Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the wonderful "14th Korean-American Bio-Medical Symposium (KABMS)”, which will take place on December 12th, 2020 (Saturday, 1 PM) via Zoom.
This annual conference is aimed at making high scientific impacts to the Korean-American Scientist and Engineer Association (KSEA) community. We are honored to invite distinguished speakers who will present innovative findings from the broad-spectrum disciplines. Notably, we have organized many short talks in different breakout meetings so that postdocs and graduate students can present their findings via short talks instead of usual poster presentations. There will also be several types of presentation awards to recognize their achievements. Through these activities, it is also our goal that this conference should not only excel interdisciplinary interaction to enlarging the territory of our knowledge but also provide an excellent opportunity for expanding professional networking.
We sincerely thank many KSEA staff, session chairs, and all invited speakers for contributing to this very exciting symposium program. I would like to express my gratitude to the conference committee and all participants for making this conference scientifically rewarding and interactive. We are thankful to the Korean Consulate General in Houston and KSEA South Texas for supporting this conference.
I hope that all of you enjoy experiencing and dreaming innovative research.
Min Gyu Lee, Ph. D.
